Who Am I?

Hi! I’m Anna, an early-career professional passionate about helping people achieve their full potential and make healthier choices. In June 2024, I graduated from UCSD with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Health Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Science. My academic journey, including coursework in Product Marketing & Management and Industrial-Organizational Psychology, has sparked a strong interest in Marketing and Business Psychology. I aspire to leverage this knowledge as a digital marketer within the healthcare industry.

What are my hobbies?

I'm a lifelong tennis enthusiast, having played since childhood. I also enjoy playing the piano and took up sailing during college. In my free time, I love reading (currently diving into The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel) and spending quality time with my loved ones.

Building My Career in Health and Wellness

During my time at UCSD, I volunteered as a Well-Being Peer Educator (WPE) for Student Health and Promotion Services and worked as a Triton Rise Ambassador for Clinical and Psychological Services. As a WPE, I contributed over 57 hours of volunteer work, actively promoting wellness programs at weekly campus events. I also led a team of 16 in Zone Focus meetings, enhancing team collaboration and strategic planning to improve program outcomes.

As a Triton Rise Ambassador, I assisted in organizing weekly tabling events, workshops, and quarterly RISE events. I also delivered presentations on CAPS services, effectively increasing student awareness and engagement with mental health resources. Together with another ambassador, I organized an event that successfully promoted the "Let’s Talk" service, which connected mental health providers with the campus community.

My experiences have demonstrated my commitment to empowering others to take better care of themselves and make healthier choices. As I look ahead, I aspire to work at a company where I can leverage both my hard and soft skills to make a meaningful impact on people's lives.
